Welcome to the daily parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, we had a heartbreaker with the Phillies not scoring in the first 5 Innings, only to score 4 in the 6th. That's how it be sometimes. Today, we bounce back. We aren't losing 2 in a row.
FRIDAY'S MLB PARLAY
LEG 1: Reds and Brewers Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our first leg of the Parlay: Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings of the Reds & Brewers Game! This has been our most profitable market for the parlays. You can find it on BetMGM and DraftKings.
The Reds face off against Aaron Civale and the Brewers. Civale has allowed at least one run in nine of his last 10 starts. The Reds have done well vs righties recently and 15th in batting average over the last 14 days. They should be able to get at least one run off Civale. It’s up to the Brewers to get at least one off Carson Spiers and the Reds. The Brewers offense is scorching hot right now putting up 16, 8 and 10 runs in their last three games. They’re returning home and seeing the ball well right now, we have to trust them to come through for us.
LEG 2: Cardinals and Royals Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our second leg of the Parlay: Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings of the Cardinals and Royals! The Royals once again find themselves back in the parlay, this time in Game 1 of their series vs. the Cardinals.
The Royals will face Miles Mikolas. He's allowed 2+ ER in four straight starts. He doesn't walk guys, but he does throw the ball right over the plate and if you know how to swing a bat, you can do damage against him. Royals have been scorching hot against RHP. As for the Cardinals, we need them to score 1 (or more) against Michael Lorenzen. Michael has allowed 1+ ER in five straight starts. If the Cardinals are patient, Lorenzen will walk them. I have faith they can get us at least one timely hit to cash this.
