New York Mets vs. Seattle Mariners Betting Pick: Our Favorite oddschecker+ Positive EV Play for Sunday
The New York Mets finish their series in Seattle tonight against the Mariners on Sunday night baseball as we cap off another week in the MLB season. The Mariners have taken both of the first two games in the series in dominant fashion, as they have given up zero runs to the Mets across both games so far. Tonight, the oddschecker+ Positive EV Tool has given us a play in this game that I love.

New York Mets vs. Seattle Mariners Betting Pick
On paper, this looks like a scary bet as the Mets have not scored yet in this series, but I think the bats will wake up tonight. Although they are hitting against Luis Castillo of the Mets, a few of the Mets bats have hit very well off him. Harrison Bader is 6–20 off him, hitting .300. Francisco Lindor is 3–9 off him with two doubles. Jeff McNeil is 4–9 off him with a home run.
Castillo has also been a victim of very poor run support. Although he has pitched four straight quality starts over his last four, the Mariners have lost three of them as they have given Castillo no run support. This has been a theme for the Mariners, as their pitching has been dominant this year, but they failed to make up for it at the plate. Over the last 30 days, the Mariners rank 28th in baseball with a .214 average against right-handed pitching. They also have one of the highest strikeout rates in the league.
I do not think the Mets will get shut out again tonight and believe they will actually have some success off Castillo and then the bullpen following. We have to put a little bit of faith in Luis Severino against a bad Mariners offense tonight, but I believe the Mets will get the job done as underdogs on Sunday Night Baseball tonight and I am trusting the AI Positive EV Tool from oddschecker+.
