TUESDAY'S MLB PARLAY
LEG 1: Nationals and Orioles Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our first leg of the Parlay: Nationals and Orioles Both Teams to score 1+ Runs First 5 Innings. In order for this leg of the parlay to cash, we just need each team to have a run on the board by the end of the 5th inning.
The Nats face off against a former divisional opponent with Trevor Rogers. Rogers faced the Nats twice and allowed a run in the first 5 in both starts. Rogers has given up a run in the first 5 in 22 of 23 starts. Nats have been solid against lefties as of late, getting hits and runs off most of the lefty starters they’ve faced. We also need at least one run from the Orioles to cash this bet. They face off against Jake Irvin. Irvin isn’t pitching in great form right now coming off two starts of allowing four and five earned runs. The Orioles offense knows how to capitalize on pitchers’ mistakes and they will get to Irvin today to cash their half of this leg.
LEG 2: Dodgers and Brewers Both Teams to Score 1+ Runs in the First 5 Innings
Our second leg of the Parlay: Dodgers & Brewers Both Teams to score 1+ Runs First 5 Innings. I like targeting this matchup. This leg didn't hit yesterday...it's hitting today though.
Colin Rea starts for the Brewers. He's coming off his best start of the season (seven scoreless innings vs ATL). I like fading a guy like this coming off that type of start. The Dodgers will get to him for at least one run. Gavin Stone pitches for the Dodgers. Stone has allowed 3+ ER in five of his last six starts. The Brewers have crushed right-handed pitchers recently. I'm confident they can deliver us a winner here.
