This series has lived up to expectations thus far.
In Game 1 it was all Dodgers as LA jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Veteran Max Muncy delivered a clutch two-out single to set the tone for the night, then Shohei Ohtani knocked in a run to open a 3-0 lead for the Dodgers in the bottom of the second. Los Angeles blew open the game in the fourth, plating three runs.
In Game 2, the Mets flipped the script.
Fransico Lindor continued his stellar season launching a solo home run in the game's first at-bat.
The most significant swing of the game came off the bat of third baseman Mark Vientos, who launched a two-out grand slam to open up a 6-0 lead.
The Dodgers threatened pulling within three runs but the Mets bullpen came up clutch to slam the door.
