There are two players from today's slate that I will be taking separately. These two players have absolutely dominated the two teams they are going against tonight and I believe today will be no different. The only thing that kind of worries me is if either one of these games turn in to a blowout. The two players we will be targeting today are Darius Garland and RJ Barrett.
November 28 NBA Prop Picks
1. Darius Garland o19.5 Points
Garland played the Hawks three times last season, going over this line every game and averaging 28.7 points per game, with this last season vs. the Hawks being his third highest points average against any team. Garland attempted his sixth most shots, shooting his second best field goal percentage and attempting his sixth most free throws vs any time.
Garland at home this season has gone over this line in four out six games with his only two unders both being 14 points playing 27 minutes in a blowout, and a 14 minute game where he got injured. The Hawks are also allowing the fifth most points and playing at the third fastest pace in the NBA. Garland attempted 14,19, and 22 shots versus the Hawks last season, and when attempting 14+ shots at home, he went over this line in 17 out of 24 games last year. Trae Young will have to guard Garland at the point guard position too, so I believe he'll take advantage of this matchup.
2. RJ Barrett o17.5 Points
After a few rough games, RJ Barrett gets the Hornets at home, where he's been great. RJ is averaging 20.8 points and has gone over this line in five out of six games at home this season. Before last game versus the Hornets, RJ had gone over this line in seven straight games against Charlotte. In his last eight games vs. the Hornets, he has never attempted under 15 shots in a game. When attempting 15+ shots at home, he is over this line in all four scenarios this year, and 20 out of 22 last year.
The Hornets this season are allowing the fourth most points and playing at sixth fastest pace. RJ had the 2nd most field goal attempts against the Hornets last year, going over the line in all three games, despite shooting 13.3% from three. He's shooting 44.6% from three so far this year, and the Hornets give up fourth most makes at the fourth highest percentage.
