In a surprise turn of events, the upcoming UFC fight between Bobby Green and Dan Hooker has taken an unexpected twist, with Jalin Turner stepping in on short notice for the injured Dan Hooker. This last-minute switch is a welcome co-main event between two skilled strikers and will hopefully be Jalin Turner's bounce back after two straight losses. He is -210 to win.

Jalin Turner vs. Bobby Green Prediction
Jalin Turner, aka “The Tarantula,” at 28 years old, is massive for the division, possessing a six-inch reach advantage in this fight and five extra inches of height. Ranked #12, Turner is seeking redemption following consecutive contentious split decision losses, arguably both of which he won. He was 6-2 in the UFC up until that point, and the losses to Mateusz Gamrot and Dan Hooker are no easy fights by any means.
On the opposite end stands the UFC veteran Bobby “King” Green, at 37 years old, whose lengthy tenure in the UFC spans back to 2013. Green's experience in the octagon has brought him to a 12-9 record, recently boosted by a two-fight winning streak. His last win was a 33-second knockout of Grant Dawson, and it proved that Booby Green is still here to make some noise in the division, even at 37 years old.
Analyzing their fighting styles, both are long and rangy strikers who use their distance well and almost always use their speed to their advantage. Green is a bit more well-rounded, as he has 9 submissions and 11 knockouts, and he is not afraid to go to the ground, although he doesn't usually shoot himself these days. Turner definitely wants this fight to stay on the feet, and he can use his advantage in length to do so.
One thing that sticks out to me here is Green's age. Green has a distinct style of keeping his hands low and using head movement to evade shots, and his chin has been so good that it works even when he eats one or two, but the chin is one of the first things to go, and Green has been getting tagged a lot more. He got knocked out by both Drew Dober and Islam Makhachev in back-to-back fights a year ago, and he has been clipped in recent fights since then.
If he gets in a stand-and-trade war with Turner, he is sure to lose, because Turner has a six-inch reach advantage and hits harder at this point in his career. Turner is nine years younger, and he is the much more athletic fighter when you consider that Green is out of his prime. His win over Dawson was awesome, but Turner's chin has held up with just one knockout loss in the UFC. I think Turner clips Green at some point early and ends it.
