ANALYSIS

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction, Pick, Odds: Will Mitchell Trubisky and Steelers Struggle?

I'm not one to complain. It's not in my nature. In fact, I never complain. It's dumb. What I choose to do instead is focus on the positives of a situation. With all that being said, I looked for positive angles for the Thursday Night Football game between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. I searched high. I searched low. I looked between the cushions on the couch and even under the refrigerator. I found nothing.

Nothing at all. There's literally nothing to feel good about as it relates to this football game tonight. I don't even think I will watch it, to be honest. But, as we all know, I am a consummate professional and I know we all need something to bet. After all, it is an NFL game in primetime. Lucky for us, I found something special.

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction

This one is in the alt section on DraftKings and you will probably want to go there since we can move lines. The reason is that I want plus money. Plus money bettors bet plus money lines. It's in the Bible (probably). It should be noted that FanDuel has alt totals but they skip numbers. The one they have that's close to this one is 35.5 (+136) which I don't want. It will probably cover but I'd rather just do the 37 at +103. (There was no math involved in that decision, just vibes.)

I know people are going to be mad about an under but hear me out. Life is all about how you look at things. It true. And the way to look at unders is simple. You're betting the over on how bad teams will be on offense. Mind-blowing stuff. I know. The great Connor Allen taught me that a few years ago in the NFL with an under move on Josh Allen. My life hasn't been the same since. (It should be noted that Allen was not expected to play much. Had nothing to do with him being bad.)

Tonight we're looking at a team in the Pittsburgh Steelers who have been terrible on offense so far. They've played eight quarters and have only scored two offensive touchdowns. One came after an interception that let them start close to midfield. They've only scored 27 points so far and their kicker has 15 of them. The issue there is the fact that winds could be gusting close to 30 mph tonight. Their best player could be neutralized.

To the haters that think the Browns' defense is bad, maybe that's true. But here's the thing. They've given up 17 points in both fourth quarters they've played so far. They've only given up 55 points and 34 of them have come in the fourth quarter. They've been hurt by quarterbacks that can take advantage of garbage time. I highly doubt Mitch can do that in 20-30 mph winds. Even better, can the Browns just run the ball up and down the field on the Steelers to build a big enough lead for garbage time? I doubt it. I hate to say this, but this under could be the greatest bet of all time.
