It's a Monday during the fall so that means we have Monday Night Football on tonight. Can Jahmyr Gibbs and Josh Jacobs ball out on MNF? Ben Rajavuori shares this banger of a Las Vegas Raiders vs. Detroit Lions same game parlay.

Today is the 30th sports equinox in history, with all four major sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) on the slate today. Although we have an equinox parlay out on Twitter, I have also locked in a +1400 same-game parlay over at DraftKings. I wanted to compare odds, but FanDuel doesn't let you parlay rushing+receiving yards props, which is kinda dumb. So for this parlay, we are at DraftKings with four total legs for +1400 odds, or a 14/1 payout per dollar. Let's get into it.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Detroit Lions Same Game Parlay
Leg 1: Lions Alt Spread -3.5
Playing an alt spread at -3.5 might seem weird, but four isn't that crazy of a number. Raiders kick a field goal and the Lions score a touchdown and we're at a margin of four. Plus, the line is juiced 56 extra cents from -3.5 to -3, so we're getting way better value. In all honesty, the Lions will most likely cover the full spread anyway, but this line is just -193 for some insurance in case of a late backdoor cover or something.
The Lions have lost two games all season - once to the Seahawks in overtime and once to the Ravens. Those are two teams leading their divisions right now and two very good teams. Every "bad" team the Lions have played, they have won by multiple scores. They beat the Falcons by 14, the Packers by 14, the Panthers by 18, and the Bucs by 14. The Raiders, for lack of a better word, are bad.
They fall right in line with those other teams the Lions blew out, and even with Jimmy G coming back, he can't save this porous defense that gave up 30 points to the Bears in a Division II rookie quarterback's first start in the NFL at 23 years old. Jared Goff has been to a Super Bowl. This Raider's defense is in trouble, and the Lions will easily win by 4+.
Leg 2: Josh Jacobs Over 18.5 Receiving Yards
I have a full article on this one leg, which you can read here, and this is my two-unit max play for tonight's slate. If you want the full breakdown, head over to my full article on it, but basically, this will be a negative game script in which Jimmy G will need to throw a lot, and dump-offs and short routes are Jimmy G's best friend. He's also coming back from an injury, so he will want to get in the groove with some easy completions in the first half, A.K.A. short throws to running backs and tight ends.
Jacobs has passed 20+ receiving yards in four of his seven games this season, but he had 16 and 18 in two of those misses and played just over 60% of snaps in the other miss, which was last week in that game against the Bears that the Raiders didn't have Jimmy G. That was just a weird game you can throw out the window for the Raiders offense. Jacobs is still averaging 30 receiving yards per game and will need to be a big piece of the offense out of the backfield if the Raiders want any chance of keeping this game close.
Leg 3: Jakobi Meyers Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Believe it or not, Jakobi Meyers leads the Raiders with five touchdowns. He has four touchdowns in the four games he has played with Jimmy G under center. He has five touchdowns in the red zone to Davante Adams' 2. I think there is a very good reason for this - defensive attention on Adams. It's smart too, because you have to at least double Adams in the red zone, and sometimes even triple him.
He'll be wide open if you don't, but that leaves Meyers one-on-one, and he has done very well in these situations, which is why he leads the Raiders in touchdowns. The Rushing game is not doing very well, as the Raiders have just 3 rushing touchdowns on the season. If the Raiders score, I expect it to be through the air, and if you're giving me +200 on the leading scorer for the team, I'll gladly take it. Let's get one from Meyers tonight.
Leg 4: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 102.5 Rushing+Receiving Yards
This is the one FanDuel won't let us parlay. All-purpose yards seem like a weird thing to ban from same-game parlays, but the good news is the people over at DraftKings respect our wishes.
Ladies and gentlemen, this could be the Jahmyr Gibbs breakout game. That's subjective, of course, because he had a pretty good game last week with David Montgomery out, rushing for 68 yards on 11 carries (6.2 yards per carry) and catching 9 balls for 58 yards through the air. Gibbs is a dual-threat running back that can truly burn you anywhere on the field.
Fantasy managers worldwide have been distraught by Gibb's usage, given that the Lions drafted him in the first round and were talking up his usage all offseason, but his usage with Montgomery playing has been minimal. However, with Montgomery out, and some NFL experience under his belt, this is Gibb's time to shine.
Gibbs logged 87% of the snaps last week and had 20 total touches on the ball. He combined for 126 all-purpose yards on those 20 touches. In a game that should be dominated by Detroit, Gibbs should have a very busy night once again and show off in primetime.
