This will be the first edition of Saturday NFL this season.
This is a significant game for both teams, who are hopeful to sneak into the playoffs via the wildcard.
The Vikings will enter this game with a record of 7-6.
That 7-6 record has earned them the sixth seed in the NFC.
It is remarkable that the Vikings have won seven games this season, given all of the injuries they have had to deal with.
The most notable injury was to starting quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The injury to Cousins has forced Joshua Dobbs into action.
Dobbs had a legacy run early on as a Viking but has struggled a bit the last two weeks.
Dobbs was benched last weekend against the Raiders in favor of Nick Mullens, who led them down the field to kick a game-winning field goal.
Running back Alexander Mattison leads the Vikings' rushing attack. Mattison has turned in a solid season, rushing for 640 yards.
Tight end T.J. Hockenson leads the Vikings in receiving yards with 839.
Superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson returned a week ago, but was injured during the contest.
Jefferson is expected to suit up on Saturday.
The Vikings defense has been great lately, ranking fifth in points allowed per game (18.6).
The Bengals will begin play with a record of 7-6.
The Bengals have won two consecutive games to keep their hopes of the playoffs alive.
Jake Browning has stepped in and played great the last two weeks. Browning has thrown for 924 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Joe Mixon leads the Bengals backfield. The former Oklahoma standout has rushed for 768 yards and seven touchdowns.
Ja’Marr Chase has been terrific for the Bengals, leading the squad with 1,092 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Bengals defense ranks 18th in points allowed per game (22.1).

The Bengals have been great to us over the past two weeks, and we will continue riding this Bengals train.
Cincinnati has flow right now on offense, and that will continue playing at home.
The Vikings offense does not have the fire power to keep pace in this game as they have looked out of sorts the past two weeks.
