5 minNFL PLAYER PROPS WEEK 15: TOP ANYTIME TD SCORER BETS
The NFL playoff race is heating up, with Bye Weeks now in the rearview. With 30 of 32 NFL teams still mathematically alive to clinch a playoff berth, high-stakes football will unfold across the league on Sunday, giving us plenty of action to wager on.
Each week, we've offered four to six anytime touchdown scorer props to invest in, with moderate sustained success throughout this season. We've had hot and cold weeks, as to be expected, going 2-3 in Week 14.
We were one inch away from cashing a Mike Evans touchdown, but his hand hit out of bounds just before his second foot came down in the end zone. Justin Fields at +170 and Joe Mixon at +100 odds both cashed for us, while Lamar Jackson (+210) and Jamaal Williams (+350) were the unsuccessful investments in the anytime touchdown scorer betting market.
NFL handicapper Matt MacKay is back to share his latest Week 15 anytime touchdown scorer props to wager on ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET slate. Best of luck if tailing. Let's cash some anytime touchdown scorer tickets during a hectic playoff push!
BEST NFL WEEK 15 ANYTIME TD BETS
DERRICK HENRY ANYTIME TD SCORER (-130) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
We're starting off with minus odds, but it's acceptable due to the player and the matchup. Derrick Henry is heating up for the Titans offense over the past month, scoring six rushing touchdowns since Thanksgiving weekend.
Henry has a favorable matchup against Houston in an AFC South divisional road contest in Week 15. He's scored 12 of his 91 career regular season touchdowns against the Texans, who have allowed 15 rushing touchdowns in 2023, ranked fifth-highest in the league. Henry is handling roughly 20-plus touches per game during his current three-game hot streak and should have several opportunities to score his seventh touchdown since Week 12. Let's stake two units on Henry at -130 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
RAHEEM MOSTERT ANYTIME TD SCORER (-105) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Raheem Mostert has been the motor driving the Miami offense all season, operating with hyper-efficiency and volume within head coach Mike McDaniel's West Coast offense. He's currently tagged as probable with a knee injury, but this has been a recurring theme this season, which hasn't phased the speedy veteran running back too much.
Despite the emergence of rookie De'Von Achane, who is currently questionable with a toe injury, Mostert has been a touchdown machine in 2023. He's only been held out of the end zone in three of Miami's 13 games played, scoring five rushing touchdowns across his previous three contests. Next up, the Jets' defense, which is much more vulnerable against the run than the pass, as Mostert shredded New York for 94 yards and two rushing touchdowns on the road in Week 12.
We're nearly at even odds for this anytime touchdown prop, which is good value considering Mostert's usage and nose for the end zone. Therefore, let's stake two units on him to extend his touchdown streak to four consecutive games at home on Sunday afternoon against the Jets.
TAYSOM HILL ANYTIME TD SCORER (+155) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
We didn't see Taysom Hill against Carolina in Week 14 due to foot and hand injuries, but now, he's probable to go against the red-hot New York Giants in Week 15.
Hill is the Saints' preferred utility weapon on offense, using him as a passer, ball carrier, and receiver, depending on where New Orleans is located on the field. Hill is especially relied on in the red zone, where he's handled 26 carries in 12 games, converting these touches into four rushing touchdowns. Hill scored a one-yard rushing touchdown at the goal-line against Detroit in his last outing in Week 13, so with a week of rest to heal up, expect more of the same against a porous Giants run defense.
New York is surrendering 4.8 yards per carry and 19 rushing touchdowns entering Sunday's road contest in New Orleans, which are both bottom-three metrics, demonstrating just how bad their run defense truly is. The Giants are tougher in their secondary, meaning the Saints will likely rely on a run-centric approach, rotating between Alvin Kamara, Hill, and Jamaal Williams to move the chains. Once in the red zone, expect Hill to feast on valuable carries, making him worth a one-unit wager for an anytime touchdown scorer at +155 odds.
COLE KMET ANYTIME TD SCORER (+260) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
We haven't seen Cole Kmet find the end zone since Justin Fields' return from a thumb injury, but the Bears' TE1 is still earning volume within the offense.
Cleveland's defense is highly respected but the Browns are dealing with numerous injuries on their roster, playing without Juan Thornhill, Grant Delpit, and several other defenders, while cornerback Denzel Ward is questionable with a shoulder injury. Remember, only a week ago, Evan Engram lit up the Browns' defense for a pair of touchdowns, so Kmet should be due for a big outing on the road in Cleveland.
Kmet had a target in the red zone against Detroit last weekend, while he wound up finishing with five receptions for 66 yards on six targets. Kmet has caught 12 of 13 targets from Fields against Detroit and Minnesota each of the past two games. Cleveland's short-handed defense, which has allowed five touchdowns to tight ends this season, including two multi-touchdown outings to Mark Andrews and Evan Engram, means Kmet should end his four-game touchdown drought and cash his anytime touchdown scorer prop at a nice +260 odds. Let's stake a unit here.
KYLE PITTS ANYTIME TD SCORER (+460) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Desmond Ridder has been looking Kyle Pitts' way in the Falcons passing attack since Week 13, feeding him six to eight targets against the Jets and Buccaneers.
Atlanta is playing to get back into first-place in a tight NFC South divisional race, plus they are traveling to Carolina, which has struggled to defend tight ends this season. Most notably, the Panthers have been the worst run defense in the league, surrendering 21 rushing touchdowns, but Pitts has value here. Expect a lot of play-action passes from Ridder and the Falcons' offense, opening up downfield targets for Pitts, who just scored a 36-yard receiving touchdown against Tampa Bay in Week 14.
Pitts only has five career touchdowns, but he's already logged one against Carolina with Marcus Mariota last season, so he's in familiar territory against their short-handed defense. The Panthers have allowed four touchdowns to tight ends this season, including a 4-yard touchdown to veteran Jimmy Graham in Week 14.
With over five linebackers injured, Carolina will have a difficult time keeping Pitts contained, especially with Drake London's presence on the perimeter, with Bijan Robinson churning production out of the backfield. With so many options in the Falcons' offense to attack a bad Carolina run defense, Pitts should find himself in the end zone before the game ends, cashing a lucrative +460 anytime touchdown scorer prop for us. Let's stake a unit on Pitts to score his third touchdown of the year and enjoy a nice payout as a result.
