5 minPhiladelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks Prop Pick: Can Jaxon Smith-Njigba Make an Impact on MNF?
Monday Night Football gives us a good matchup between two teams who look playoff-bound in the NFC. The Eagles have already clinched a spot at 10-3, but the Seahawks are right in the hunt at 6-7. While the Seahawks are just under .500 on the season, they are 4-2 at home, and they have a very good receiving corps, which could present issues for the Eagles tonight with an ill Jalen Hurts. What is the best prop in this game?

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks Prediction
I have to target the talented rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba tonight. Jaxon was the Seahawks' first pick in last year's draft, and the rookie has produced this season. Jaxon has played the role of WR3 on this offense behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, and he has done it well, producing 493 yards on 49 receptions. He is averaging 37.9 yards per game and 3.77 receptions per game.
As much as the Seahawks are underdogs in this game and Geno Smith is expected not to play, the Seahawks should be able to move the ball through the air tonight. If Geno Smith can't play, Drew Lock is not a horrible backup to come in behind him and move the ball with these talented receivers.
Last week, Drew Lock threw for 269 yards against the 49er's defense while getting four receptions to Jaxon for 25 yards. Those short routes that make easy targets for Drew are part of why I love Jaxon in this spot on his receptions. His line is 3.5 receptions tonight. Jaxon has hit this in seven of his 13 games this season and pretty consistently gets to four receptions or above.
No other team is allowing more receptions to wide receivers per game than the Eagles. They are dead last, allowing 16 receptions per game to wide receivers. Also, Darius Slay is out for this game on top of the already injured Avonte Maddox, so backup cornerbacks are in to cover this talented receiving corps. DK Metcalf will get a lot of attention out wide, leaving those short routes open all night to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. He should easily hit 4+ receptions tonight.
