Back to preseason football this weekend, and I want to head down to Houston for this one. The New York Giants are heading down to the Lone Star state for a clash with the Texans at NRG Stadium. Giants head coach Brian Daboll is 1-6 ATS in the preseason, while DeMeco Ryans is 3-2 ATS.

New York Giants vs. Houston Texans Prediction
Tommy DeVito looked fine under center in week one for the Giants, Drew Lock on the other hand did not. I am a fan of Lock, I loved him at Missouri and I hope he can figure things out, but he has struggled to lock up the QB2 spot to this point, and has been run off from both of his starting jobs.
DeMeco Ryans has already announced that his starters will play in this game. I am sure we don't see C.J. Stroud, Stefon Diggs and Co. for too long, maybe a quarter at most, but a few drives can really set the tone for this squad. Even after they are taken out, Davis Mills and Case Keenum will be out there the majority of the game, and both of them looked really good so far by preseason standards. This is their third game compared to the Giants' second, so they are already more in the flow of things and both of these guys have plenty of true experience starting in the NFL.
Houston just has a much higher ceiling than the Giants do, and the depth they have under center will help them win their second consecutive preseason game.
