The Detroit Lions will welcome the Tennessee Titans to Ford Field on Sunday, and will be hungry to feast.
These two teams are moving in opposite directions, part of the reason for the massive spread today. The Lions are the biggest favorite on the board, and are surging at the top of the NFC after another massive win over Minnesota. They punched in a game-winning field goal with seconds remaining, spoiling the Vikings' perfect season.
The Titans have barely mustered one win all year, coming against the wounded Miami Dolphins. They've been a disaster on offense, and can't seem to find a functional quarterback. After trading away several stars, will they even be able to put up a fight against Detroit? Let's take a look at the latest Titans vs. Lions odds for NFL Week 8.

Tennessee Titans vs. Detroit Lions Prediction
This line is continuing to steam towards the Lions on Sunday afternoon, and for good reason. It began around -10.5, and has bounced up to -12.5 in some spots. They overcame the Vikings on the road with a late comeback, and are deserving of a heavy favorite with their 5-1 record. The offense has been nearly flawless, spreading the ball around to a variety of talents like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Jahmyr Gibbs.
Meanwhile, the Titans have essentially punted on their season. They continue to switch between two subpar options at QB in Mason Rudolph and Will Levis. Neither has had success under center, averaging under 17 points per game on the season. They won't be able to move the ball much on this Lions defense. It will be even harder to do so without WR DeAndre Hopkins, who they flipped to the Chiefs last week. And speaking of trades, they sent one of their best defenders in Ernest Jones IV to the Seahawks right after that. They are continuing to shop other linebackers, and are in full sell mode not even halfway into the season.
The Titans players will not be inspired to suit up for a franchise that has basically given up on them after six games, as evidenced by their second half blowout loss against the Bills last week. While they started strong at took a slight lead into halftime, they completely floundered in the second and lost by more than three touchdowns. That effort will carry into Sunday in Detroit, missing several key talents and any motivation. They may get run out of Ford Field in the first half, and that's why we are going to take the Lions -6.5 1H. With the line up to -12.5 after opening around 10, the spread number is too high to take for a full game after the movement. It's a very public side, Jared Goff and the Lions should come out firing at home after a thrilling road win over the Vikings last week.
