FanDuel Same Game Parlay - Colts vs. Vikings

Leg 1: Indianapolis Colts +8.5

The Indianapolis Colts are potentially turning the page on second-year QB Anthony Richardson, benching him this week in favor of the 39-year-old veteran Joe Flacco. Flacco has led the Colts to two wins in his three starts with them earlier this year while Richardson was injured. But when the dual-threat QB came back, he struggled in the last two weeks, failing to complete many easy passes and taking himself out of the game with fatigue. Flacco will take over now, and it's no secret that this offense has seen a lot more success with him under center. He led them to upset wins over the staunch Steelers and Titans defenses, two of the best in the league. If he can tear them up, he shouldn't have trouble with the 30th ranked Vikings D who has given up 30+ points in each of their last two games as they falter following a 5-0 start. It appears Minnesota is coming back down to earth, and with 75% of the bets on the home team, the Colts continue to fall down to +5 after starting at +7 last week. Flacco and co. are clearly the sharp side here, and have a very strong chance to win outright on Sunday Night Football as the Vikings continue to falter. We will grab a few extra points on the spread here to protect from a touchdown-defeat, so Colts +8.5 will start off this parlay.

Leg 2: Joe Flacco 250+ Passing Yards

Joe Flacco has been tapped again to try to save a team with a struggling QB. Last year he did it for the Browns, and played his way to the comeback player of the year. This year, he stepped in for the Colts for three games while Anthony Richardson was injured, and won two of his three games. He also nearly lead a massive comeback against the Jacksonville Jags with some impressive deep balls to Alec Pierce. Flacco did go under this number in two of his three starts, .. The Vikings are also allowing the third-most passing yards per game, yielding 263 yards through the air. Flacco will exploit this and fly over this alt passing number, with his original line close by at 239.

Leg 3: Josh Downs 6+ Receptions

Outside of those deep shots to Pierce, Josh Downs has been far and away Flacco's favorite target. Downs has racked up the stats when Flacco plays, but has been more consistent with receptions rather than yards. Downs has gone under this receptions number in his last two games, but that was with Anthony Richardson in at QB. The youngster has struggled in the passing game, rocking the worst completion percentage of NFL starters, which is part of the reason he's being benched. But in the previous three games with Flacco under center, Downs lit it up with seven or more receptions in every game. Flacco is well-versed in completing short to mid range passes around the field, and Downs is the speedy guy to get it done for him. He has gone to him much more than true No. 1 receiver Michael Pittman, and Downs has led the team in targets and receptions in all three of Flacco's starts. He will get six or more receptions tonight, especially if the Colts are playing part of this game from behind.

Leg 4: Josh Downs Anytime TD Scorer +230

As explained, the early data shows that Downs and Flacco have a real connection in this Colts offense. Downs' stats have a sharp contrast from when he plays with Richardson, although he did score last week in a 100+ yard effort, largely gathered on one 69-yard TD play. Downs has three touchdowns on the year, and the other two were during Flacco's starts. We're going to ride this trend as he continues to field targets and receptions from the veteran QB, who will put him in spots to be successful. They are exhibiting a similar connection to the one that Flacco had with David Njoku on the Browns last year, which became a lucrative TD machine in the second half of the season.
