NHL Parlay Picks Today: Combining New York Rangers, Boston Bruins on Monday Night

Monday's NHL slate is a good one. I'm so excited to see action on the ice again after having a few days off last week. I cooked up a moneyline parlay for a few games on the slate tonight.

NHL Parlay Picks Today

Leg 1: Buffalo Sabres vs. New York Rangers

The New York Rangers are a wagon at home and I have no issues riding the train here with momentum for the Rags. They have won four of their last five games and just defended home ice at Madison Square Garden over their rival Boston Bruins in a convincing 7-4 victory.

The squad has 2.28 GAA on the season, the best in the league, to go along with a 3.37 GPG average offensively which puts them firmly above three goals per game and lately they have averaged four a game over their last five games. With Igor Shesterkin presumably in net, I will back them against nearly anyone. Igor is coming off of an excellent performance against the Philadelphia Flyers and even though the Buffalo Sabres have pace, they have struggled this year.

Leg 2: Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Boston Bruins

On the flip side of the Rangers last game comes the Boston Bruins who will be our second leg tonight. This is an excellent bounce back spot for one of the best teams in hockey and after losing by a handful to a top tier rival, I expect frustrations to be taken out tonight in a strong performance from the Bruins.

Spencer Martin will be in net for the Columbus Blue Jackets, sporting a 1-5-1 record to go along with a 3.337 GAA and sub .900 save percentage. Columbus has had a tendency for showing up against big opponents from time-to-time in recent years but with Boston needing a win to get back on track (Boston is 1-2-1 across their last four, worst stretch all season) I expect Boston to take care of business. I do not care if it is Linus Ullmark or Jeremy Swayman, both net minders are very capable and should play well tonight.
