Anaheim Ducks vs. New York Islanders Prediction: Can the Ducks and Islanders Put Up Points?
The second play I want to dive into tonight keeps us on the East Coast with this one going down at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The Anaheim Ducks (10-17) are in town for a clash with the New York Islanders (13-7-7) and I expect the track record on these head-to-head clashes to continue.

Anaheim Ducks vs. New York Islanders Prediction
Four of the last five times these teams met, the total has flown over with an average of 8.75 goals. The Islanders have taken four straight in the series and have led the scoring for the most part but Anaheim still put up a minimum of three goals in three of the four games. New York has won four of their last five with four of those five games going over and they are averaging 4.4 GPG in the last week. I love the way they are playing with pace right now and expect it to continue.
Anaheim is struggling and should have no issues conceding goals here tonight; my main concern would be them contributing and I think they do. The Islanders are still without three of their top six defensemen so they are still questionable on the back end. Despite winning four of five, they still have given up sixteen goals in those five games and the lone loss came to a very poor San Jose squad that was able to score five on them.
I think the Isles spearhead this one but if Anaheim gets on the board early, this could turn into an all out slugfest. Love getting this number at such a cheap price.
