Seattle Kraken vs. Dallas Stars Prediction: Can the Kraken Get Hot in Dallas?

Well, to kick off our week, we are heading back down to Texas for a showdown at the American Airlines Center. The Dallas Stars (17-8-4) host the Seattle Kraken (10-14-8) in what should be a game with a lot of pace tonight.

Seattle Kraken vs. Dallas Stars Prediction

Dallas had a rough week against some heavy hitters last week but rebounded nicely with a few wins over their last few games. The biggest thing to note about the way they are playing is how much action they have had. After their 6-3 win over Detroit a few days ago, they had almost four days to rest up and got right back on the wagon with a nine goal game against Ottawa at home and a seven goal game in St. Louis over the weekend.

Dallas home overs have been cruising this season at 10-4 and there is good reason why. The Stars struggle big time defensively on home ice sitting with a 3.53 GAA, third worst in the league; on the flip side, they score 3.67 per game on home ice so they at least play balanced and rank fourth best in the league in that regard.

The last time these teams met they played a 2-1 game in Dallas in the playoffs last season. The five games prior to that between them all went over. I think the pace and style of play Dallas has been showing will open this game up and Seattle (13 goals in their last three games) are more than capable of helping us get to the number here on this one.
