The second game I want to dive into today takes us to the City of Brotherly Love as the Philadelphia Flyers (32-23-7) host the St. Louis Blues (31-26-3) in what will be the last meeting between these two squads this season. Neither squad is having an amazing season, but Philly has played well above expectations, and finds themselves in a solid playoff spot here. On the flip side, the Notes are on the bubble, and after the recent three-game skid, they need to get something going here to get back into the playoff picture.

St. Louis Blues vs. Philadelphia Flyers Prediction
I really don't understand the pricing on this line here. I know the sportsbooks do everything based off of numbers, and sure, a slow first period could hurt us here, but I don't see it. Philly is on a terrific trend with six plus goals in four straight, and are averaging 8.5 GPG in that span. After dropping three straight and a major lack of offensive production from the Blues last week, the Notes picked up a massive home win over the Wild in a 3-1 victory.
The last four straight meetings between these two squads have cleared this number, and I feel like we are due for another one here. St. Louis has struggled offensively lately, but they are due for a good outing. Even if they struggle, they should be good for two at minimum here, and that's coming from a guy that knows the team pretty well in my opinion. The Flyers identity has slowly changed in 2024, they are scoring and I am here for it. Getting this at the key number of 5.5 is the only reason I am biting here; 6.5 would be an absolute no go for me, but 4-2 one way or another feels like a bet I have to take.
