Friday Racing Picks: Gulfstream Park
Race 1 - PICK: Bulldat
- Bulldat is open to more progress than most here and rates a solid bet. He ran encouragingly last time at Gulfstream and can take the first race today
Race 2 - PICK: Frontier Mesa
- Kelly Breen could have a decent three-year-old on his hands with Frontier Mesa who looked a promising prospect on his seasonal return and he can follow up here
Race 3 - PICK: Newyork Giant
- Newyork Giant is less exposed than most of this field and despite being a beaten favorite last time out he's displayed plenty of promise in his short career - he can get off the mark today
Race 4 - PICK: Strong Ending
- The selection has been contesting much better races than this in the past and will appreciate the drop in class today
Race 5 - PICK: Dalarna
- Don't bet against Bobby Dibona's Dalarna who is in search of a four-timer today. He clearly likes the track having won well here last time in March and can make it a fifth win in his last six starts
Race 6 - PICK: Candy Machine
- Although the likely favorite, Chad Brown's Candy Machine is the most likely winner of race six. He ran well first time out when second of 10 at the track in February and the step up in trip is unlikely to stop him today
Race 7 - PICK: La Tres Jolie
- La Tres Jolie was overlooked in the market last time out and ran well despite odds of 55-1, the same could happen today and if he's worth chancing at likely big odds
Race 8 - PICK: Off Topic
- Todd Pletcher can take race eight with the four-year-old Off Topic who's likely to be popular in the market. She won really well here on her final start last season and can continue her progress this campaign
Race 9 - PICK: Laska
- Tapit To Ride is the likely favorite here but doesn't set an unsurmountable standard. Take Laska to cause the upset after a good comeback run back in February
