This Weekend's Best Bets: The Five Best Bets for the Weekend Ahead

Over the weekend, the Olympics will finish up, among many other exciting events. Take a look at our five favorite bets for the weekend ahead!

Favorite 5 Weekend Picks

Olympics Men's Soccer: France vs. Spain: Spain (+215) (Bet $100 to collect $315)

Friday, August 9, 12:00 PM ET

France is the favorite. And it doesn't that the French are on home soil. Spain has already won the Men's Euros, Women's World Cup, Men's and Women's Nations League, and the U-19 Men's and Women's Euros. Spain is becoming the place for soccer. Ultimately, Spain's roster is loaded. They've already scored 11 goals in this tournament. Look for them to outscore France and become Olympic Gold Medalists.

Olympics Women's Soccer: Brazil vs. USA: USA (-230) (Bet $230 to collect $330)

Saturday, August 10, 11:00 AM ET

The United States just beat Germany in extra time, 1-0, to land a spot in the gold medal match in the Women's Olympic Soccer Tournament. Germany was shut out for just the third time this entire year. That's how well the United States has played defensively. Despite being outplayed in the second half, the United States kept it together and ultimately found a way to knock off Germany. There's just some magic about this United States team. That magic will continue against a Brazilian team that has struggled to beat the United States in many tournaments recently. In addition, Germany and the USA won 11 of the last 16 Olympics. The United States did their part by knocking out Germany. This game against Brazil seems slightly easier.

UFC Fight Night: Yana Santos vs. Chelsea Chandler: Yana Santos (-140) (Bet $140 to collect $240)

Saturday, August 10, 7:45 PM ET

Chelsea Chandler might be a couple of inches taller than Yana Santos. However, Santos' experience will likely factor into this matchup. Santos has landed 4.16 significant strikes a minute and has landed with 56% accuracy. So, as long as she stays on her feet, she'll be fine against Chandler. Ultimately, Chandler has added 60% success with takedowns but Santos has more knockout power. We'll go with the experience in this one.

UFC Fight Night: Chepe Mariscal vs. Damon Jackson Over 2.5 Rounds (-120) (Bet $120 to collect $220)

Saturday, August 10 - Approx 9:15 PM ET

Damon Jackson's game plan is already known. He's looking to take Chepe Mariscal down and wrestle him. He believes he has a grappling advantage and has been preparing for this fight with a lot of wrestling. If that's the case, it seems likely that we'll get Over 2.5 rounds in this matchup. Mariscal loves to stand up and fight. But if Jackson takes that away, this UFC bout will certainly go Over 2.5 rounds.

UFC Fight Night: Marcin Tybura vs. Serghei Spivac: Serghei Spivac (-162) (Bet $162 to collect $262)

Saturday, August 10 Approx 9:45 PM ET

We've got an exciting heavyweight bout to close out UFC Fight Night! Marcin Tybura is coming off a first-round submission against Tai Tuivasa, but Sergehi Spivac is ranked much higher despite his second-round knockout loss to Ciryl Gane. Spivac is the better wrestler and can submit Tybura. While Tybura is typically more durable, he'll still be overmatched. There's still a good chance Spivac can wear down Tybura, especially with this fight going five rounds.
