Brazil vs Haiti Prediction
Brazil knows goal difference could become critical later in the group stage, and after dropping points in Matchday 1, there is every incentive to push forward aggressively from the opening whistle. That’s a dangerous situation for a Haiti side that already struggled defensively against Scotland and now faces a massive jump in class.
The talent gap between these two nations is enormous.
Even while looking sluggish against Morocco, Brazil still generated quality chances and controlled large stretches of play. Vinicius Jr. was able to create danger almost single-handedly at times, and Carlo Ancelotti may make tactical adjustments in midfield to generate even more attacking opportunities.
Historically, Brazil has dominated this matchup.
In two previous official meetings, Brazil has outscored Haiti by a combined margin of 16-2. While those results don’t directly predict today’s outcome, they highlight the significant gulf in overall quality between the two squads.
The biggest reason I like the over, however, is game state.
If Brazil scores early, this match could open up very quickly. Haiti will eventually be forced to take more risks, creating additional space for Brazil’s world-class attackers in transition. That’s exactly the type of environment where Brazil can pile on goals in a hurry.
Haiti’s defensive numbers from its opener are also concerning. Scotland generated nearly one expected goal before halftime alone, consistently creating dangerous opportunities through sustained pressure. Brazil possesses far more attacking talent and finishing ability than Scotland, making those defensive vulnerabilities even more significant.
While many bettors will focus on Brazil winning comfortably, I think the better angle is expecting goals.

Brazil should create plenty of chances on its own, and if Haiti is forced to chase the match at any point, the game could become far more open than the market expects. Whether Brazil does most of the scoring themselves or Haiti contributes to the total, the ingredients are there for a high-scoring affair.
After a frustrating opener, expect Brazil to play with urgency, attack from the start, and continue pushing forward throughout the match.
