Forza Magico broke her duck in a Down Royal maiden earlier this month and looks capable of better, especially over this extra furlong, but the vote goes to BY THE LAKE. Having won twice last season when trained by Ger Lyons, she rounded out her campaign with a tilt at Listed honours. The daughter of Starspangledbanner then moved to Derek McCormack and went desperately close on her return to action at Navan. Improvement looks likely and she can go one place better. Motta Alta is also noted.
