oddschecker Verdict
Sonas got closest to a runaway winner at Wexford and even though she was beaten a long way, the performance still represented a step forward from her debut at the same venue. She will need to make similar progress to get off the mark in this contest and while that isn't out of the question, TELEGRAM SAM's Kilbeggan third is stronger form and Adrian Murray's gelding gets the nod. Direct Approach doesn't appear to be as good in this discipline as he is on the level, but his third at Kilbeggan back in July earns him a place on the shortlist.
