oddschecker Verdict
Although beaten by a big-priced stablemate when third on his hurdling/yard debut at Chepstow, SACRE CHEF shaped better than the bare form suggests. Dan Skelton's charge is entitled to strip fitter for that seasonal bow and this emphasis on speed is expected to suit. Minella Rockett has proved progressive on the Flat since making a winning start over timber at Limerick in early July and is an obvious danger, while the James Owen-trained Charles Darnay adds further spice to the mix.
