Having justified the position of the 1/14 favourite and winning by 38 lengths over 2m1f here when last seen, it is hard to ignore the claims of the returning and as yet unbeaten CRISTAL D'ESTRUVAL. That bloodless success was preceded by a maiden hurdle success at Warwick on his Rules debut last November, which cemented the promise of his game win in a point-to-point the previous spring. With that in mind, larger obstacles should suit the Harry Derham-trained gelding and he may be too progressive for Be Aware and All The Glory.
