A faller at the last when still in front at Listowel, KINGS JET can gain compensation. While he still had work to do on that occasion as the final two fences were omitted, the Cormac Farrell-trained gelding was travelling well at the head of affairs and looked sure to play a part in the finish. Provided his confidence hasn't been affected, the six-year-old should be able to make amends. Shock Killarney winner Woodstream Lad is respected, despite being an 8lb rise. Notably, the David O'Sullivan-trained gelding is a previous winner over hurdles at this track. Galway runner-up Prince Palace was no match for the winner on that occasion but should be competitive once again.
