STATE PENSION can strike here on just his second start over flights. Third at Navan on his recent jumping debut, the David Harry Kelly trained gelding shaped with distinct promise on that occasion. A former bumper winner, the son of Diamond Boy boasts some strong winter form which stands out in this company. He should be good enough to win before having his sights raised in the coming months. Crystal Mariner finished behind the selection at Navan last time but a bad mistake two out all but ended his chances. Placed on his previous two starts, the Sea The Stars gelding should go close.
