The Flaggy Shore was extremely impressive on her hurdling bow at Ffos Las back in May and is respected under a penalty, but the vote goes to NAN'S CHOICE. Dan Skelton's mare won a Gowran bumper when trained in Ireland before going on to land a Grade 2 at Aintree. The daughter of Getaway returns with her yard going great guns and further improvement looks likely now sent over timber. Princess Day was a beaten favourite in that contest on Merseyside and failed to land the odds over flights at Chepstow. That effort should have blown the cobwebs away, though, and she is expected to take a step forward.
