Juddmonte parted with 1,500,000gns to acquire YAMANA and although the daughter of Frankel will make little inroads into that hefty price tag by winning here, she can still get off to a successful start. Her dam was a Group 3 winner and little needs to be said about her exceptional sire. Ralph Beckett's string is in great nick, which can only enhance her claims. Gran Dia makes plenty of appeal on paper and so does Pyledriver's close relation Humble Pyle, while the selection's stable companion Star Rose and Martaban are two more to consider in an intriguing contest.
