EARNEST BELIEF has undergone wind surgery since a respectable third at Worcester in July. Given he lost a shoe during that race, the performance can upgraded and this could be a good time to catch the low-mileage four-year-old. The consistent Way Maker is a strong threat to the selection and this marginal step up in trip should suit the son of Walk In The Park. There might be more to come from Rock Armour on just his second start over hurdles and he is speculatively championed for third place.
