Southwell 20:00 - w/o Mrs Blue

oddschecker Verdict

CHIANTI appeals as the type who will benefit from the application of first-time blinkers and the generally consistent son of Tasleet, who has been placed on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton, looks worth chancing in this wide-open nursery. Naval Cop commands respect as the only previous winner in the race. However, he lacks all-weather experience and it might be better to focus on the potentially well-treated Sable Island as a biggest danger. Mrs Blue is another to consider on her handicapping/synthetic surface debut.

Prediction: 1st Chianti, 2nd Sable Island, 3rd Naval Cop
