LLEM'S shaped well enough in two stronger races last winter to suggest he can go close in this company. The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding showed definite signs of ability on his debut when eighth in a big field at Punchestown. Although well beaten when falling at the last at Leopardstown over Christmas, that is traditionally quite a decent contest and it would be no surprise to see the five-year-old prove too good for this opposition. With an official rating of 89, Asthelightdeclines sets a clear standard. Mid-division at Kilbeggan on her reappearance, the Gavin Cromwell-trained filly is open to improvement. The locally-trained Ddakji is one to keep a close eye on in the betting.
