Having run a big race when third on his introduction at Navan in March, COLOSSAL IMPACT can make the breakthrough. Leading for much of that contest, the five-year-old only gave best inside the final two furlongs. Sure to have benefited from the experience, he will be ideally suited to racing prominently around this much sharper track. Long Goodbye has shown enough on all three previous appearances to suggest he is good enough to win an average bumper. Georgie Benson looks a significant booking in a race of this nature and her presence on the Liz Doyle-trained gelding shouldn't be underestimated. Likewise, Jody Townend catches the eye on the Barry Fitzgerald-trained Josh's Jury.
