Rob Handley had two winners in the second ODI, including a 9/1 shot. Don't miss his two picks for the third and final game
India v England Third ODI: Sunday 8:00am, Sky Sports 2
Scoring over 350 twice and not winning either game has highlighted a lack of ruthlessness in the middle overs for the tourists and the quality in the Indian ranks. The final ODI is to be played at Kolkata where five of the last seven ODI’s have been won by the team batting first. The same time frame includes seven centuries including a memorable 264 by Rohit Sharma. The history at this ground and the explosive nature of the series so far are pointing towards a run fest, making a century to be scored at 8/13 a safe bet.
A winning bet for us in the previous two games has been England’s openers outscoring their Indian counterparts. Roy’s form has been very impressive and whilst Hales is out injured, I would still back England's openers to outscore the struggling Dhawan and Rahul. Currently priced at evens, I’d advise getting on England to have the highest opening partnership sooner rather than later.
