Following their 5-0 thumping of Panama in Chicago, Argentina travel across to the West Coast and Seattle, where they play Bolivia, who have an even longer journey across the entire country after they were undone by a very late Arturo Vidal penalty against Chile in Foxborough. Argentina need just a single point from this one to ensure they top Group D, while Bolivia will want to get some points on the board as they’ve been competitive at this tournament, but have been undone by a couple of late goals.
Argentina’s win over Panama was their sixth in a row as they’ve only conceded two goals in this time and with Lionel Messi back in the team, the tournament looks to be shaping up nicely for Tata Martino’s men. Their record against sides they’re ranked between 40 and 60 places higher than is W7-D1-L0 since 2013 as they kept a clean sheet in all of these matches and they led at the break in each of these wins.

Bolivia have now lost 11 of their last 12 matches but they’ve had some very tough fixtures in recent times, against the likes of Colombia, USA and Chile and things don’t get any easier for them here as they meet Argentina. When playing sides ranked in the world’s top-10, Bolivia are W0-D2-L8 as they failed to score in eight of the matches and trailed at the break in seven, including each of the last five.
Argentina have won their last three matches against Bolivia since 2015 without conceding, scoring 14 goals in the process. They’re as short as 1.15 to pick up the three points in this one and top the group and while the HT/FT double and the win to nil both make appeal, they’re a little on the short side and instead the best bet looks to be siding with Argentina on the Asian Handicap and backing them to record another big win.
