Adelaide Utd v Brisbane Roar - Friday 08:50, BT Sport 1
Champions Adelaide have made a disastrous start to their title defence, suffering a fourth consecutive 2-1 defeat last week at home to the Mariners. They have just one point from their five games so far and are rooted to the foot of the table. Brisbane, conversely, made it three wins on the bounce as they beat City 1-0 at home to move up to 2nd.
Adelaide have lost all three of their home games so far and while their record at the Hindmarsh Stadium last term was a decent W7-D4-L2, five of those victories came against the weak bottom-four. Meanwhile, they struggled against the top four (W1-D1-L2) and given their form this term that suggests they’ll have to wait a little longer for that first win.
Brisbane have won just four times on the road since the start of last season but they travel to an Adelaide side in dire straits. A home defeat against Central Coast really is a terrible result as that was only the Mariners’ second away win in 31 games since 2014/15. We wouldn’t go anywhere near Adelaide at 2.5 and with Brisbane in excellent form, we’re backing them to win and make it four on the bounce.£10 Free Credit and a £500 Deposit Bonus
