FC Koln v RB Leipzig - Sunday 16:30, BT Sport 2
Both these sides are unbeaten so far this season, with Koln up in 2nd having won three of their four games whilst conceding just once, and promoted Leipzig in 6th with two wins. One of those came at home to Dortmund, while they’ve also managed a point in their last game against Monchengladbach.
Koln’s unbeaten run now stretches to nine games and they’ve kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven going back to the end of last season. Their home record is a respectable W7-D5-L7 since the start of last term but if we exclude games against the top-seven it’s W5-D4-L3 as they conceded only 10 goals in these matches.
Leipzig drew their opening road game 2-2 at Hoffenheim before winning 4-0 at Hamburg which is in contrast to their road games in the 2.Bundesliga last term where they were very much an ‘unders’ team. Indeed, with at least one team failing to net in five of Koln’s last six at home and 12 of their 19 home games seeing fewer than three goals, we’re backing Under 2.5 goals with both these sides strong defensively, having conceded just four goals between so far.
