Bristol City have a caught Leeds at a good time and will hope to make the most of it.
Leeds v Bristol City – Sunday 16:30, Sky Sports
Bristol City continue to struggle in the wake of their cup heroics, drawing at home to lowly Sunderland last time out, and they’re in fact W1-D2-L4 in their last seven league outings. However, opponents Leeds are one of the few Championship teams in worse form at present, losing five of seven winless matches ahead of this encounter, as well as suffering defeat at League Two outfit Newport County in the FA Cup. In fact, they’ve conceded eight times in their last two at Elland Road, and so Lee Johnson will have this game earmarked as the potential turning point in the Robins’ bid for promotion. We’re siding with the visitors draw no bet.
Leeds have certainly been leaky at the back in recent weeks, and excluding results against the teams above them, Bristol City are W5-D4-L2 on their travels this season and only failed to score in three of these games. However, they conceded in four of those five victories, while Leeds have only once failed to find the net in their last nine on home turf. In fact, Leeds have managed to score in each of their last four home defeats, as well as in their sole game so far under Paul Heckingbottom as they went down 2-1 away at Sheffield Utd last time out.
Since returning from a knee injury recently, Famara Diedhiou has three goals in as many starts for Bristol City. Given that he’s likely to resume penalty duties and that their other key attacking threat Bobby Reid is without a goal in six appearances, we’re backing the Senegalese to continue his run in front of goal.
