Zwolle v PSV - Saturday 6:45pm, Sky Sports Interactive
It’s been a disappointing start to the season for Zwolle, so far as an opening day draw was followed by a 3-0 home defeat to newly promoted Sparta Rotterdam. It doesn’t get any easier with PSV coming to town and last season’s champions will have good memories of visiting the MAC³PARK Stadion as it’s where they lifted the trophy last term.
Cocu’s side have won their first two games and though they’ve been narrow victories the six points will be sure to give the team a boost. Their away form was terrific last season and following a win at FC Utrecht in their opener they’ve now won 11 road games consecutively and are a tempting 1.57 to make that 12.
Zwolle beat PSV a couple of seasons back but otherwise they’ve lost five of their seven fixtures against the big-two since gaining promotion to the Eredivisie. Manager Ron Jans is still without new signing Django Warmerdamm up front where they look a little short of firepower. It won’t be long until PSV find their stride and given the memories of their last visit, and against a Zwolle side that look short of confidence, they could easily move up a gear here and we’re backing the Champions to win by at least two clear goals .
