Eibar v Sevilla - Saturday 17:30, Sky Sports 5
Eibar continue to go from strength to strength after finishing 14th last term in only their second season in the top division as they’ve won their last two games, beating Valencia at home and then Granada away last time out. It’s also been a good start for Sevilla under new manager Jorge Sampaoli as they’ve picked up seven points and impressed in blunting Juve in a goalless draw in Turin in midweek, though they’re remarkably still searching for their first La Liga away win since May 2015.
Eibar have only lost six of their 20 home matches since the start of last season with four of those defeats coming against the top-four, and even they had to work hard for their wins as Barca were the only side to beat them by more than two goals. When hosting sides that finished between 5th and 10th Eibar were W2-D3-1 as they scored in each of these games but could only keep one clean sheet, with three 1-1 draws, including against Sevilla themselves.
Sevilla have drawn half of their 20 away games since the start of last season but it’s goals that have been the problem for them on the road. They’ve managed only 13 in this time, scoring more than once on just one occasion, which is incredible considering they score an average of 2.2 goals in their home games over the same period. Until they show some improvement on their travels, we’re going to continue taking Sevilla on and as a result we’re going to back Eibar/Draw No Bet here.
