Athletic Bilbao v Sevilla - Saturday 17:30, Sky Sports 2
Bilbao have overcome their sticky start to the season with three straight victories, despite not being at their very best. This weekend they welcome a Sevilla side that remain unbeaten in the league but have lost on their last six visits to the San Mames stadium.
Sevilla drew their first two away games as they still seek their first win on the road since May 2015, 21 games ago. They’ve drawn 11 in this time, while six of the defeats have been by a single goal.
Since the start of last term Athletic have lost just five of 21 home games with four of these defeats coming against the leagues ‘Big Three’ as their record against the rest of the division is an impressive W12-D4-L1. With this in mind, we fancy the Basque club to pick up all three points but as their performances have yet to hit the heights of last season and with Sevilla expected to be competitive we’ll back the home sideto win by one goal.
