Granada v Leganes - Saturday 12:00, Sky Sports 5
Granada are still searching for their first win of the season and as a result they’ve sacked Paco Jemez this week and look set to have another relegation battle on their hands, having not finished higher than 15th since their promotion in 2010/11. Promoted Leganes, meanwhile, are up in 13th but they have lost three of their last four.
Granada’s home record is W6-D6-L10 since the start of last season but part of the reason they continue to defy relegation is their strong performance when hosting fellow strugglers. They won three of five unbeaten games against bottom-six sides last term and if we go back even further their record is W8-D6-L1 when hosting these teams since 2013/14.
With that in mind, Granada look a decent price to win at 2.5. They’ve had some tough fixtures to start the season as everyone they’ve faced so far are currently in the top half. Since seven of their 10 wins last term were despite conceding, while Leganes have netted in five of their six games this season, we’re backing Granada to win and both teams to score.
