Leganes v Real Sociedad - Friday 19:45, Sky Sports 5
Promoted Leganes have lost three of their last four to drop down to 14th, though they’d be happy to finish there come the end of the season. Sociedad won at home to Alaves last time out to climb up to 7th as they continue to improve under Eusebio Sacristan, who took over from David Moyes.
While Leganes have won three games this season, each of those triumphs has come on the road, where they’ve enjoyed playing on the counter. Indeed, they’re just W0-D1-L3 in front of their own fans, but they’ve had some tough fixtures as they’ve played Atletico, Barca, Sevilla and an improving Valencia side.
Sociedad have been excellent at home so far, but they’ve lost their last three on the road and have won just seven of 23 away since the start of last season. Furthermore, they’ve won just one of their last 10 trips to promoted teams and though they’ve been made marginal favourites for this by the bookmakers, we’re not quite convinced. Leganes have picked up a draw at home to Atletico and were beaten by just a single goal by both Sevilla and Valencia and so we’re siding with them Draw No Bet.
