PSG v Dijon - Tuesday 20:00, BT Sport ESPN
PSG bounced back to form resoundingly with a 6-0 win at Caen on Friday night to send a message to the rest of the league and ease some of the pressure on new manager Unai Emery. Indeed, a similar scoreline certainly looks on the cards here as they host promoted Dijon, who have lost three of their opening five games.
PSG have won all 12 of their home games against bottom-six sides since the start of 2014/15 as they led at the break in 11 of these, though only kept three clean sheets. Four of their six wins last term were more by than two goals and with Cavani finally finding his shooting boots against Caen, we’re going to back the champions to cover the -2 handicap and for the Uruguayan to score two or more goals.
Dijon have lost both their road games so far and they look set to struggle after they managed to win only eight of their 19 road games in Ligue 2 last term. The fact that they’ve failed to score in three of their games so far puts us off backing them to get on the scoresheet in defeat in here, so we’re going to stick with another thumping PSG win and we wouldn’t put anyone off being adventurous in the handicap markets, with -3 and even -4 both worth consideration.
