New York City v Chicago Fire - Saturday 01:00, Sky Sports 1
City are well placed in 3rd in the Eastern Conference with a nine point lead over New England in 6th and just four games to go of the regular season. Chicago sit bottom of the pile, nine points off New England and though they do have a couple of games in hand it would be a remarkable effort to qualify for the playoffs from where they are.
A 2-2 draw with league leaders Dallas ended a spell of five straight home wins for City and though they continue to be in great scoring form, netting at least twice in seven of their last eight at Yankee Stadium, they’ve managed only three clean sheets in their 15 home games all season, though one of those did come in a goalless draw with Chicago themselves earlier in the campaign.
However, since that draw, Chicago have lost 10 of their last 11 on the road, with three of the last four of these defeats by more than one goal, while they’ve also trailed at the break in five of the last seven. With City banging in the goals at the moment, we’re going to back them to cover the-1 handicap, while we’re also going to backing them to be ahead at half-time and full-time, as they have been in four of their last six at home.
