NBA pundit Gareth Freeman has two bets for Wednesday's early game in Indiana.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers Betting Tips - Wednesday 00:10
Indiana Pacers are still jostling for position in the Eastern Conference and they can improve on their 26-10 home record when Minnesota Timberwolves arrive at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.
The Pacers sit in seventh spot but Milwaukee and Atlanta are very much in their sights and they are in great form at home, with six wins in their last seven games.
The Timberwolves are down in 13th in the Western Conference with a record of 28-44 and are in the midst of a woeful run. Minnesota are winless in their last six games and without a victory on the road in their previous seven.
Aside from an overtime loss at San Antonio right at the start of that losing run Minnesota have offered very little on their travels in recent weeks. In five of their six most recent road losses the Timberwolves have been beaten by at least 10 points, with their other defeat coming in overtime at Los Angeles Lakers.
The Pacers picked up a rare away win in Minnesota in January and have won all of the three most recent meetings between the two sides. With Paul George in good form Indiana should come through this game fairly easily and -4.5 in the point spread looks a modest target for the hosts, given the fact they’ve won by at least seven points in five of their last seven games in Indianapolis.
Back the Pacers (-4.5) in the point spread and cover Indiana with a winning margin of 11-15 for a bit more value.
