Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys – Monday 01:30, Sky Sports 1
It's some schlep from Chicago to Dallas and the return leg of the journey will feel even longer if the Bears again play like they have done so far this season. A 23-14 loss away to the Houston Texans was followed by an even bigger defeat at home to the Philadelphia Eagles, going down 29-14 after a very poor second half performance.
The Cowboys and rookie quarterback Dak Prescott got their first win of the season last week in Washington as they downed their AFC East rivals the Redskins by 27-23. Prescott is getting a lot of plaudits for his performance, he threw for nearly 300 yards and even ran himself in for a touchdown.
As for Bears QB Jay Cutler well he is injured again and looks likely to miss 2-3 weeks. In will come Brian Hoyer, a QB that actually reached the playoffs with the Houston Texans last year before dramatically imploding during the wild card match against the Chiefs. The Texans lost 30-0 at home and Hoyer threw four interceptions along with two fumbles.
If the Cowboys lose at home to the Bears and Brian Hoyer they can forget any playoff talk as surely it will mean they aren't good enough, take them to win on the point spread.
