2023 MLB Mock Draft: Ranking the Top 30 2023 MLB Draft Prospects

2023 MLB Mock Draft: Ranking the Top 30 2023 MLB Draft Prospects
After this year's MLB Draft has concluded, we're already looking forward to next year. Here are the top 30 prospects in the MLB Draft, as of early August.
2023 MLB Top-30 Prospects
1. Dylan Crews, OF, LSU
Crews figures to be the best college prospect in baseball. He has had an OPS of 1.135 in two seasons with the Tigers and can hit for average along with power. He's got a bright future.
2. Chase Dollander, RHP, Tennessee
Dollander went from Georgia Southern to Tennessee and didn't disappoint last season, holding a 10-0 record with a 2.39 ERA. He also struck out 108 batters while walking just 13 in 79 innings. He's the best pitcher available.
3. Max Clark, OF, Franklin Community HS (Franklin, IN.)
Clark could easily be the first pick of the MLB Draft if the team drafting at the top wants to be patient.
4. Jacob Gonzalez, SS, Ole Miss
Gonzalez had an OPS of 1.000 as a freshman with Ole Miss. He also hit 18 home runs and scouts say he's got a great eye at the plate.
5. Walker Jenkins, OF, South Brunswick HS (Oak Island, NC)
Jenkins can hit liners for incredible velocities. He's got ridiculous power and he hasn't come close to reaching his ceiling. He's another guy teams will have to be patient on but he'll be worth it.
6. Wyatt Langford, OF, Florida
7. Enrique Bradfield, OF, Vanderbilt
8. Thomas White, LHP, Phillips Academy (Rawley, MA)
9. Jacob Wilson, SS, Grand Canyon
10: Angels: Will Sanders, RHP, South Carolina
11. Rangers: Blake Mitchell, C, Sinton HS
12. Rockies: Noble Meyer, RHP, Jesuit HS (Portland, OR)
Meyer can throw 98 mph and has a weird arm angle when he throws, making it tough for hitters to time him. He's also developing off-speed stuff and has a lanky frame that could be lethal at the big league level.

13. Cade Kuehler, RHP, Campbell
14. Paul Skenes, RHP, LSU
15. Brock Wilken, 3B, Wake Forest
16. Yohandy Morales, 3B, Miami
17. Travis Sykora, RHP, Round Rock HS
18: Eric Bitonti, SS, Aquinas HS
Bitonti is a left-handed bat who committed to Oregon. He won't even turn 18 until December and still has all the tools that could make him a first-round selection. He's got incredible power and great discipline at the plate.
19. Travis Honeyman, OF, Boston College
20. Rhett Lowder, RHP, Wake Forest
21. Roch Cholowsky, SS, Hamilton HS
Cholowsky has a great arm in the field and even with his length, scouts believe that he has an "advanced barrel" where he can hit anywhere on the field. He would be a great find for the Rays.
22. Jack Hurley, OF, Virginia Tech
23: Brayden Taylor, 3B, TCU
24. Tommy Troy, SS, Stanford
25. Patrick Reilly, RHP, Vanderbilt
26. Caden Grice, 1B, Clemson
27. Matt Shaw, SS, Maryland
28. Drew Bowser, 3B, Stanford
29. Tanner Witt, RHP, Texas
30. TJ Nichols, RHP, Arizona
