Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals Odds: 59% of Bets on Bengals to Pull Off Upset
The Buffalo Bills host the Cincinnati Bengals in Orchard Park, New York, for what is expected to be one of the best NFL games of the year. For what was supposed to be played in Week 17, the Bills vs. Bengals game has now been rescheduled after a traumatic event surrounding Damar Hamilton.
With both teams highly favored to win the Super Bowl, this will make for one nail-biting playoff contest. This will be one difficult matchup to predict, as both teams have put together an impressive 2022-2023 campaign, but have also been struggling since the playoffs began.
Josh Allen has thrown too many picks/interceptions recently that have cost the Bills, specifically in the Wild-Card Round against Miami. On the other hand, the Bills' run game has improved, with Cook and Devin Singletary leading the way, and Allen himself making a positive impact.
The Bengals are pretty banged up right now as well, with several starters along their offensive line out. If Cincy wants to be effective on offense, missing the majority of their o-line, they'll need to look for Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine to handle more of the workload.
Bills vs. Bengals odds are pretty clear that they are expecting a win from Buffalo, but the betting public seems to disagree with the oddsmakers. Even though the Bills are favored to win, more than 50% of bets are on the Bengals winning this Divisional Round outright on Sunday afternoon.
The Bills have logged over 90 rushing yards in back-to-back wins over the Patriots and the Dolphins, both of which rank as top run defenses to play against in the league. This will be Buffalo's key to success this week as Allen's been turnover-prone. Buffalo finished their regular season with a 13-3 record, ranking them as the No. 2 seed in the AFC. However, the Bills went on to square off against the Dolphins, in which they were the 17-point favorites, but it did not go as planned for Buffalo. Starting off hot with a 17-0 lead, the Bills quickly fell and trailed 24-20 early in the second half. They persevered and advanced to the next round of the playoffs.
The Bengals also had a shaky start to their 2022-2023 postseason. While Cincy can trust starting wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, their run game hasn't been as consistent. Failing to hit 73 rushing yards in four consecutive games, the Bengals' run game is in some trouble. Cincinnati ended their regular season with a 12-4 record, one win short of the Bills.

While oddsmakers are predicting the Bills to win, just as they are favoring the Bills to win the Super Bowl more than the Bengals, the betting public does not agree. 59% of bets are on the Bengals to win the Division Round and advance to the AFC Championship.
This is an extremely tough matchup to predict as both teams are filled with superstar talent on both sides of the ball. Both quarterbacks are in the running for the MVP award, and Joe Burrow appeared in the Super Bowl just last season.
Buffalo has the second-most points per game on the season (28.8), second-most points per game at home (32.1), and the second-most points over the past three games (34.7). Cincinnati on the other hand only averaged 24.1 points per road game and 24.3 points over their past three games. I happen to agree with the oddsmakers here, but it seems the betting public does not.
According to our friends at DraftKings, 59% of the money is on the Bengals to advance with a win.
