We began the weekend with some profit after going 2-1 with our MLB strikeout props. We even hit a +122 bet on George Kirby last night.
He pitched an absolute gem for the Mariners!
Anyway, we're back for more. It's our first 15-game slate of the year, so there's lots to choose from. Here are the three strikeout props I'm rolling with tonight.
March 30 Best MLB Strikeout Props
Zack Littell Under 3.5 K's (-128) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
Last season, Zack Littell added only 20.1% of strikeouts against 384 batters. However, he only struck out 17.1% of right-handed batters as a right-handed pitcher.
Today, Littell can expect to see six right-handed batters in the lineup for the Blue Jays. Toronto's projected lineup only struck out 18.9% of the time against righties last year. Only Daulton Varsho and Cavan Biggio, two lefties, struck out at a rate above 20.8%.
With just two targets for Littell, we'll take his Under 3.5 Ks at -128.
Marcus Stroman Under 3.5 K's (+118) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
While Marcus Stroman typically has good stuff, he's not a big strikeout pitcher. Last season, he held teams to a .104 ISO and wOBA of .289 but induced 57.4% of ground balls and only struck out 20.7% of batters.
Stroman fits the Yankees well as a pitcher. He'll limit fly balls and force ground ball contact, which ultimately helps him go deep in games. However, this matchup against the Astros doesn't really favor Stroman.
Last year, the Astros' projected lineup struck out only 20% of the time and hit a .203 ISO and wOBA of .355 against righties.
Stroman will likely face seven righties in the Houston lineup, where he struck out 22.7% of batters. But he also struggled more against righties, allowing a .315 ISO.
In his season debut with the Yankees, we'll back his Under.
Austin Gomber Under 3.5 K's (-140) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS
The Rockies will send out left-handed pitcher Austin Gomber for tonight's game against Arizona. Gomber only struck out 14.3% of batters last season after facing a solid sample size of 602 batters.
Gomber gave up a wOBA of .216 and ISO of .373 to those 602 batters. It likely won't be an easy day for Gomber, who will face a Diamondbacks lineup that has absolutely torched the Rockies in the first two games of the series.
Arizona has five batters in the projected lineup that struck out 17.6% of the time or fewer. The Diamondbacks also have four players who struck out no more than 13.9% against lefties last season.
Gomber won't have many targets to land strikeouts. Back his Under too.
